Comments received (Jan 2017 changed format so latest comments at top of list)

January 2017 - Friendly and considerate service

The respiratory nurse is brilliant, she is really helping me with my asthma

Dr Frier listened to what I had to say and was very helpful

I felt reassured and confident by the way I was listened to and the relaxed yet professional way Dr Wilson dealt with my problem

Excellent practice, very helpful and sincere. Genuine care for their patients

Doctors give enough time to patients and availability of appointments - only thing I would suggest is a play area for the children - thank you for this comment, it is something the practice have looked at in the past however as it is a shared waiting room we have not been able to get our request sanctioned. We will keep trying though.

I was waiting 30 minutes before seeing the doctor - it is regrettable that sometimes there are delays to appointment times, unfortunately the nature of the surgery makes it difficult for the clinicians to always run on time. Where possible other doctors do try to help out the GP running behind. We can only apologise for any delays and please ask the receptionist if you wish to rebook

Waiting times to see a doctor when you are ill and need to be seen is like 2 weeks by then you could be seriously ill - We agree, that is why we always have 'on the day' appointments which are available to book each day from 8am. This type of appointment is given out in time order and could be with any of the GPs. Our waiting time for routine appointments is currently just under 1 week and we are always working hard to find ways to reduce that waiting time even further. When you request an appointment if the waiting time is too far ahead for you then please ask the receptionist for an appointment that day

December 2014 - Thank you to all the staff for excellent service.

All service with a smile - very good medicine!

Excellent GP service - they know you and I trust them

Standards of professionalism are of the highest, all staff kind, understanding and willing to go the 'extra mile'. This practice is an example to all

Appointment take longer, owing to more patients I guess

May 2015 - Everybody always polite and always get seen quickly - Great Doctors

Good service, welcoming atmosphere, friendly Doctors, easy to talk to

Very attentive & flexible

I get 1st class service from reception, as much time as I need from the GP - often over running but that's because they spend time with their patients

Family friendly practice

June 2015 - Dr's run to time, reception staff always helpful, nothing is too much trouble

Overall excellent surgery, feel very well looked after

July 2015 - Dr are friendly and approachable. Friendly staff always manage to get help when needed

Always able to see a GP when needed, clinic always has a happy feeling. Extremely helpful and professional at all times. First class treatment and advice

Since Dr Marchi left the practice has 'gone to the dogs' - find it extremely difficult to get an appointment 7 -10 days ridiculous. Some of the receptionists are very friendly and do their best 2/9/15 - Our new surgery times have reduced waiting times to within 1 week and as always any urgent appointments will always be seen on the same day

August 2015 - Have been with this practice over 50 years. Have always found the service fantastic, Doctors, nurses, receptionists do a brilliant job, sometimes under difficult circumstances.

Easy to get an appointment. All Doctors very empathetic

My friends with other practices are jealous of the time you spare

Excellent personal family Doctor, I regularly praise our practice to others in the Sale area. Receptionists are always keen to help and accommodate appointment times

So much harder to get an appointment that suits my work pattern these days. - We have amended our surgery times from 1 September so hope this will enable patients to get the appointment times they prefer

September 2015 - Dr Burlington was very helpful and caring

I have had excellent service from the GPs and Nurses in this practice - thank you

Lovely staff, lovely waiting area. Not so good car parking. - Unfortunately the car parking issue is out of our immediate control as we are tenants in the building but we will mention it again to the landlords NHS properties at our next meeting.

October 2015 - Very kind, caring GPs, reception staff. Very flexible to meet the needs of patients

Staff always lovely and friendly. Drs really listen and make time for you when necessary

Dr Frier - friendly but professional in all aspects. I felt I was listened to and decisions were made together

January 2016 - The practice always tries to accommodate you where they can. The doctors are very helpful and the practice nurses too

March 2016 - Receptionists very pleasant. Usually possible to get an appointment

April 2016 - Consistently excellent service

Very happy in their care

On the last 3 visits to the practice we have waited over 30 minutes each time to see a GP or nurse. Better communication please over running late. I understand this happens but each visit I have had to ask how much longer the wait will be - thank you for your comment, the clinicians do try hard to run to time but sometimes it is unavoidable particularly with more complex issues. However we take on board your comment with regards to waiting times and better communication and we will adopt your suggestion.

The waiting time is too long - If this is related to the time waiting to book a routine appointment then we are constantly looking at our appointment book and adding extra surgeries, where it is safe to do so, to help reduce the waiting times. We apologise if you feel that it is too long but currently the next available routine appointment is within 7 working days which as we say we are always trying to improve.

The Doctors are knowledgeable and helpful. They never make you feel rushed even when they clearly have a lot to do.They give you confidence, explain their reasoning and give measured advice and treatment. Thank you very much, you are greatly appreciated

May 2016 - I have always been treated well by all members of staff here in the 16+ years that I have been a patient

The receptionist today was so helpful and really looked after my mother in law, fetching her a drink. This was really appreciated and we'd both like to recognise this positive behaviour. PS the Doctor was also superb

September 2016 - You have to book in advance over a week to see a Doctor, this does not help you if you have an underlying problem -Unfortunately sometimes our waiting time is just over a week, however there are 'on the day' appointments every day available for those patients who need to be seen that day. Recently we have added a new surgery on Wednesday evening which has helped reduce the waiting times

Prompt treatment at a convenient time of day

It seems to be a very well organised practice with good useage of digital communication. No big queues, sisters and doctors always available in need

Your medical practice is always clean and well presented, I know we can't always get an appointment when we want it but that seems to be the way of the world

Appointments are fairly quick and all doctors and nurses are lovely. People on reception and when you call up are also very nice

Excellent doctor who has time to listen and explain
