Breast Screening at Wythenshawe Hospital - Eligible patients have recently been invited to attend routine breast screening. 808 patients attended from a total of 1074 invited (75%), 26 patients were reviewed in clinic and 3 cancers were detected. If you missed your invite please contact our Cancer Champions (Jo and Rebecca) at the surgery who will help you arrange a screening appointment.  If you have any worries or concerns regarding breast screening then please make an appointment with a GP to discuss.

On 12 April 2016 the surgery was inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and our overall rating was 'Good' with a rating of 'Outstanding' for people experiencing poor mental health. Please see CQC information page for full detailed report

Last month (January 2018) there were 104 patients who missed their appointment with the GP or Nurse

This is 17.3 hours of un used clinical time

This may increase your waiting time to see a clinician

If you know that you will be unable to attend your appointment please can you call the surgery so it can be used by someone else

We have a text messaging service which confirms and reminds patients of their appointments, please check with reception if you wish to use this service.

New Patient Registration

Patients living within the practice area are welcome to register and our reception staff can confirm your eligibility from your postcode. You can also check your postcode falls within our boundary by following this link:

All new patients are required to complete the GMS1 Registration Form and our Surgery Patient Questionnaire, this will need to include your previous GP surgery and any medical history. Both these forms are available at Conway Road Reception, however the GMS1 may be printed off from the link below.

Proof of address and photo ID is preferred for each Adult wishing to register at our surgery. Acceptable items include utility bills, recent bank/financial statements, tenancy agreements, passport or a valid driving licence.

Any new patients already receiving regular medication will need to make an appointment with one of our GPs before any future prescriptions can be issued. All medical treatment is available from the date of your completed registration.
